800 | g | potatoes | peeled and sliced 2-3mm thick |
3 | dl | milk |
3 | dl | cream |
2 | clove | garlic |
100 | g | Gruyere | shredded |
1 | | leek | sliced , optional |

Instructions
- Layer potato slices and optionally leek slices in a form
- Mix milk, cream, and garlic and season with salt and pepper
- Pour liquid mixture over the potatoes. The potatoes should be
fully covered.
- Bake for 50 min until the potatoes are soft.
- Increase the oven temperature to 220° add shredded cheese on top
and bake for 10 min until browned.
Notes:
Gruyere can be replaced with mozarella or other cheese.
